Rebecca Dengrove

RETAIL, FOOD AND CONSUMER MARKETING

A former WEALF entrepreneur, Rebecca is a senior executive in the food industry with leadership experience in all aspects of product development and business strategy. Currently, she works in business development with a food-technology company working to make plant-based foods better tasting, more nutritious, and so desirable that people crave them. In that capacity, she is working to commercialize the platform of ingredient technology by pursuing long-term growth and revenue from customers, markets, and relationships.

As an entrepreneur, Rebecca developed, launched, and scaled Brewla Bars, an award-winning specialty brewed ice pop that was acquired by Ruby’s Naturals in 2017. Over her career in the food industry, she has worked in product development and innovation, on iconic brands including Pepsi Max, vitaminwater zero, and Cream of Wheat to name a few. 

She brings a strong technical background to her activities including a Master’s in food science from Rutgers University, a degree in Nutrition Science from UC Davis as well as formal training in climate change and health and supply chain management. She is passionate about producing innovative food experiences that explore the intersection of wellness sustainability and culture.
